Moradokmai Theatre Troupe are unique. They live in a 50- strong rural community, in Thailand. Over 20 years they have built a home base for professional actors and a theatre school under the leadership of Janaprakal Chandruang (Khru Chang), a leading Thai film and theatre artist. 

Pupils from 12 years learn traditional Thai theatre, music and dance and Western art forms, along with self-sufficiency - growing their own crops, cooking their own food, building their own shelters and living a simple communal way of life, while embracing artistic innovation.

Thank you very much for the wonderful experience for our children! Please, thank the actors for showing us their talent and giving us a taste of the Thai Culture. The children have been doing follow-up activities. It will be lovely to see them again.

Their new musical play 'Daddy! Is that you?'  is based on two well-known Thai stories.
The play suits all ages and comes with an optional one-hour workshop. Ideal for arts centres, schools, colleges, festivals and community groups it provides a unique participative celebration of Thai culture.

In September 2012, their 8 strong troupe will be in the UK following an appearance at 'Contacting the World' Youth Theatre Festival at the Contact Theatre in Manchester. This is a unique opportunity to see this amazing and innovative group. Contact us for details.

Moradokmai Theatre Troupe network with 600 schools in Thailand, organise International Festivals and work with performers and directors from all over the world. Despite losing their home base in the floods that devastated Thailand last year, the company's work continues undaunted, from their new mountain home in Loei province.

A Day with Circus Sensible can be anything from a day of Circus Skills workshops up to Shows, circus skills workshops and Circus shows in one of our Beautiful 'baby' Big Tops. Circus skills include Juggling, Stiltwalking, Plate spinning etc. Shows in our Circus tents can last up to an hour and involve lots of audience participation. Entertaining for all ages. For Circus skills in schools, please see our Circus in schools pages. Our Circus tents are also available for hire, and we can provide Walkabout entertainment in the form of Stiltwalkers, Balloon Modellers, Unicyclists and Jugglers. There's even more though! What about adding on Facepainting, Henna Tattoo, or a pupptet show, a close up magician. If it's not listed here, we can still probably organise it! So, although we specialise in the Circus skills and workshops side of things, anything is possible!
